My Approach
I take a holistic, evidence-based, personalized, and collaborative approach to nutrition in my practice, which allows each client to receive their own individualized program based on their needs and goals. I also practice weight-neutral care which believes in the superiority of health-supporting behaviors over weight loss behaviors. There is this idea in health care that thinner = healthier and a weight-neutral approach takes that off the table and focuses on the health needs of the individual as they exist now, instead of the possible future version of that person.
